Roscoe

We received a email from Happy Tails of Washington County who needed help from other rescues to desperately join in and pull dogs who were at risk of euthanasia because of the holiday closures coming up.

Euthanasia, because of shelters being overcrowded, unfortunately doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t matter if your a 1 year old pup and have barely lived your life or a senior who’s served your family well-it’s just a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Along with multiple other rescue groups, we worked to pull together what we could- to make sure that wasn’t the outcome for 17 dogs and 2 cats. We are so thankful for community!

Roscoe was one of them, a handsome year old bulldog mix! Even though he has greying hair you can tell he still has a lot of life left in him and we are so happy we were able to provide him with that chance! He has some itchy skin issues/loss of hair that we will be treating along with his vet care, but he didn’t deserve the holidays to mean the end of the road for him.

We are so thankful that we were able to provide a place to safe place for him while he waits to find a forever home.

We are thankful for our followers who assist us in their continued support, allowing us to pull animals like Roscoe. Without your help-we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.

We are thankful for our families and friends who are understanding and ready to pitch in any way they can-to help us in our continued passion of being a voice for the voiceless.

If you’d like to assist in helping us with Roscoe’s care or to support us in the continued ability to pull animals like this in desperate situations, even small donations make a difference.
